What a surprise! FIFA have turned down Iran’s perfectly reasonable request to move their World Cup games to Mexico. Instead, the team and officials will need to visit a country which is bombing their homeland and whose President has advised against them travelling for their own safety.

I see that many in the right wing media are calling for the UK to protect itself from rising energy prices by drilling more of Scotland’s oil. However, as this article points out, that is sheer fantasy. Renewables are the way ahead.
